There are currently no public schools in Piperton. The closest public schools are quite some distance to the north and east of the City. That may be changing over the next few years as a committee has been working on developing a plan, seeking funding, and preparing an application for starting up a Charter School in or near Piperton to serve residents in the southwest corner of Fayette County.
